After 18 years working in public accounting, PJ Knudsen changed her career focus to actively
assist individuals reach their financial goals. She believes an informed and educated decision is the key to success.
PJ currently holds the series 6, 63 and 7 licenses, in addition to a Life, Health, and Variable
Annuity license. In 2007, she passed the Certified Financial Planner comprehensive exam to
earn her CFP® designation. Four years ago, she realized that many people need advice
surrounding Medicare options and Social Security claiming strategies, so she expanded her
expertise by adding the National Social Security Advisor Certification (NSSA®) and the
Registered Social Security Analyst Certification (RSSA®).
PJ has lived in the Houston area since 1973. Her motto is “Home is where my dog is”, and she believes rescue dogs are the best! Just ask Rusty and Ginger! She has two married children and one beautiful granddaughter. When not spending time with her loved ones, you can usually find her with her nose in a book or working on the computer doing genealogy research.
